Addie's 2nd Birthday Party!

Okay, get ready for the biggest picture post ever! We had so much fun today at Addie's party. Everything went perfect and everyone really seemed to enjoy the party especially Addie. She was so excited to have all the visitors at her house. Rebekah helped me get the food ready this morning while Brian & Nammie went to blow up balloons and Pa-paw went to get ice. Nana, Papa, Uncle Adam, Aunt Lacy, & Jake arrived just before noon. Addie was still napping and Papa couldn't wait to wake her up. I wouldn't let him wake her up until 15 minutes before the party though. (Addie does not do well without her nap.) She was so excited to see everyone when she woke up and she was in the best mood. Aunt Rena, Uncle Chris, Jace, & Aunt Joan were also here for the party. We had a great meal and enjoyed cake and Addie was spoiled with so many birthday presents!

Addie's ladybug cake turned out to be so pretty! And it was just as good as it was pretty. Teresa from Teresa's Cake Art made it and she always does such a good job!

The grand finale of the day was letting Addie see her new big girl room. She loved it and didn't know what to do first!

I think it's safe to say that she was a happy girl!

As you can tell, we really had a great day! We enjoyed every one's company and celebrating the day with Addie. Uncle Chris & Brian videoed the party for us. We played in Addie's new room for a little while before everyone had to leave. Nana, Rebekah, & Lacey cleaned up my whole kitchen while we were playing with Addie. They washed all the serving dishes and had all the food put up before I even knew it. They are too sweet and I'm blessed with such a great family. Everyone helped me in some way and the party was wonderful!

Addie got so many neat gifts, this is one of my favorites. Brian & I got her the rose petal cottage and Rebekah, Nana, Papa, Adam & Lacey got her all the accessories to go in it.

Wow, I know that was a lot of pictures! We are exhausted so Brian & I are about to curl up, relax & watch a movie. Until next time...
