Today, we had a day of celebration at our church (Hamilton Crossroads Church of Christ). We celebrated our families and all the new babies that have become a part of our congregation over the past two years. We've had 17 babies that have been born or adopted to families in our church in the past two years, so we have much to celebrate! That is a lot of new children for our small church. The church set aside a day to pray for our babies and their families. The service was very good and the babies were each given a bible with their name on it. We had a fellowship meal afterwards with lots of good food! It was a great day and I enjoyed it so much. Brian & I pray that we will be good parents to Addie and raise her in good faith. We are truly blessed and I thank God everyday for blessing me with so much, especially a healthy, happy, beautiful, sweet baby girl. As parents, we continuously worry about making the right decisions and teaching our children what is important in life. It is really comforting to know that we have the prayers and blessings from our church family. We couldn't do it without them.
What a precious day! I am so excited that you are letting others look in on your blog now. I just read thru the whole thing & you have done a wonderful job (not that I'm surprised). Addie is a doll! Thank you for your sweet comments. Hope you get to meet our little guy soon. I will get around to linking you to ours.
Hey Jennifer! I just discovered your blog through Amy's blog. You look beautiful as usual and your daughter is absolutely precious! I hope all is well with y'all!.
I've recently began my dream job of being a stay at home mother and wife! I am married to my best friend and the love of my life, Brian. We have a beautiful daughter named Addie and a sweet baby boy named Cole. We live in L.A. (Lower Alabama) and love living our life together. We also have two dogs (boxers) Blaze & Breeze and a few cats in the yard. I use this blog as a tool to stay connected to family & friends and also to have a keepsake of everyday moments in our life!
